WIIS New England is a WIIS U.S. chapter based in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded in 2007 by women from Brandeis University, Tufts University, Harvard University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Events
March 24, 2015: WIIS New England, in collaboration with Fletcher Global Women, hosted a discussion on “Achieving Inclusive Security in Syria.” Carrie O’Neil of the Institute for International Security and Professor Dyan Mazurana discussed the inclusion of women in decision-making about war and peace in Syria. A question and answer session followed this discussion.
March 31, 2015: WIIS New England hosted an event in partnership with the Fletcher Security Review on “The Military at Home and Out Front.” This event will explore the personal experiences of active and prior duty military personnel, and explore current transitions and future challenges of the military.
November 19, 2014 : WIIS New England hosted a breakout session with Dr. Querine Hannon. She gave a talk at The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy and speak with WIIS members about her career.
December 2014 : WIIS New England coordinated a field trip to the U.S. Naval War College to participate in the second day of their Conference on Women, Peace, and Security. WIIS New England also coordinated a meet and greet event for WIIS members at the U.S. Naval War College and Security Studies students from the Boston area.
