This is the qualitative counterpart to the study above. “The central focus of the research was the exploration of perceptions of cohesion during ground close combat; this report explains that the experience of the vast majority of interviewees was that cohesion worked well during these incidents. Additionally, interviewees expressed wider attitudes and views about women in ground close combat, which have developed to some extent as a result of their experiences, and these are also recorded within this report.”
