Nicoletta Pirozzi is responsible for the “EU, politics and institutions” program and responsible for institutional relations of the Institute for International Affairs (IAI), contract professor at the Department of Political Sciences of the “Roma Tre” University.
She mainly deals with EU governance, political and institutional aspects of the Union’s foreign and security policy, civilian crisis management, EU-United Nations relations and EU-Africa relations.
In 2012 she was seconded national expert to the European External Action Service (SEA) in Brussels. Previously she was Visiting Fellow at the EU Institute for Security Studies (EU-ISS) in Paris and Research Fellow within the European Foreign and Security Policy Studies Program. She holds a Masters in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges and a PhD in Institutions and Policies from the Catholic University of Milan.
