Emme Pitts is a rising sophomore at the George Washington University’s Elliott School pursuing a degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Security Policy. Her primary interests include counterintelligence and Eastern European affairs. In addition to interning at WIIS-Global, Emme is the president of the GW chapter of WIIS, where she seeks to further develop the academic and professional competencies of other young women interested in international security. Emme is also a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon professional foreign service sorority and has spent the past year living and learning in the Elizabeth J. Somers Women’s Leadership Program. She is looking forward to deepening her knowledge of a wide range of topics relating to gender and security through her internship at WIIS.
