WIIS Italy has launched its first edition of the mentoring program to encourage professional development for women working in International Affairs. This program allows women to strengthen themselves and partner with other women to share their knowledge and experiences in the field. The program is aimed at providing direct relationships and contacts for networking to women working towards progress. The mentoring program has many facets as well. While some meetings are focused on specific topics, such as Women in Diplomacy, other meetings are trainings for women to develop in their fields of expertise. These meetings are also combined with one-to-one meetings between mentees and mentors.
