| Describe a professional or volunteer experience that you feel qualifies yourself for service on a board: | As an Honorary Assistant Vice-President at IIA NOVA Chapter, I served 1,400 members and conduct fundraising, promotion and advocacy of the internal audit profession. I cooperated with IIA Washington DC and Baltimore Chapters, and IIA International serving 185,000 members globally. In addition, I coordinated IIA NOVA Training and Capacity Building activities, and Digital Outreach, managed operations and strategic communications, programs and training in cybersecurity, governance, corporate risk management and mitigation. As an Honorary Associate Director for Business Outreach and Chair at ISACA, I conducted fundraising and C-Suite Executive outreach and Chaired ISACA’s panel discussions. With the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA GWDC Chapter, I served over 3,300 members in IT audit, information security risk and IT governance fields across the Washington, DC area. I cooperated with ISACA International serving 150,000 global professionals.
