I’m excited to participate in the WIIS Mentorship Program as I work to transition from a communications/PR background into the international relations and security space. My academic training and professional experience have been rooted in politics, public service, and international affairs, and I’m eager to better understand the range of roles available within this field beyond traditional communications work. I’m hoping to connect with a mentor who can help coach me on networking strategically within international security and provide guidance on career paths that align with my interests and skill set. I’m especially interested in learning how professionals navigate early career transitions and position themselves for opportunities in this space.
