Without accountability, justice, or protection measures in place, conflict and violence will continue. The international community has worked to establish legal pathways at the domestic, international, and regional levels to respond to demands for justice and accountability. Technology plays an increasingly important role in the fight for justice and accountability. How has the rise of technology shaped the tools available to identify and document atrocities, and how effective are these tools in the fight to prosecute perpetrators of violent crimes?
