Next Generation Scholars

The Next Generation Scholars (NGS) is a global mentorship and training program building the next generation of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners in the gender and security field. NGS alumni have gone on to reach the top of their fields in defense and security,  foreign service, academia, the humanitarian sector, and serving in high-ranking government positions.

In 2022 held a five-year reunion and networking event for all past and present NGS participants. The NGS alumni network will continue to foster connections to share ideas and current research, sponsor sessions on professional development and media skills, explore new and diverse perspectives on critical gender and security issues
