On May 13th, WIIS Research Director Dr. Karin Johnston and WIIS Fellows Duilia Mora Turner and Dr. Joan Johnson-Freese, alongside Dr. Gabriela Hoberman, spoke at the 10th annual Hemispheric Security Conference at Florida International University on women, peace, and security. Their insights on the whole-of-society approach to security and conflict showed the real-world impact of the WPS agenda. WIIS is grateful to the FIU Jack D.
